Ethos Group

At St. Wilfrid’s, our Christian ethos forms a vital part of everyday life. We believe that all our pupils should have the opportunity to develop a set of values they can use now and in the future. To ensure Christian Values are at the forefront of each pupil’s mind, we formed an Ethos Group. Throughout the year we have organised a range of experiences to enhance our Christian education. Our Ethos Group are involved in whole school worship and other activities to continue to reflect our values in all areas of school life.

Every Monday after school the Christian Ethos Group (children from Y5 and Y6) worked with the Worship Warriors on producing exciting worship and dramatizing stories from the Bible. The children shared their worship and drama with the rest of the school.

The Christian Ethos Group, alongside other children, created Christian artwork for the KS1 and KS2 Halls with the artist, Mark Mennell.
