Joseph Performance!

Class: Year 4 Year: 2017 - 2018

After many weeks of rehearsals, prop creation, costume design and singing (lots of singing!), Tuesday 10th July was finally our production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Our cast of singers and actors from Year 4-6 gave three fantastic performances in Church on a very hot day - getting better at every performance.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the production and special thanks to Mrs Goulding for the many hours of planning and preparation she put into the show.

Our Joseph stats:

215 children in total

45 in the main cast

11 brothers plus 1 Joseph!

20 narrators

1 1/4 hour a week after school since March. (plus many teaching hours during music lessons)

2 amazing costume makers

1 winning design for the programme

1 camel

1 sheep skeleton

1 goat

4 palm trees

2 sets of prison bars

1 set of handcuffs

1 teddy belonging to Pharaoh

12 sets of sunglasses (11 brothers plus Pharaoh)

1 stolen cup

12 stars

12 sheaves of corn

16 songs

3 exhausted staff (Mrs Goulding, Miss Banks, Mrs Waterworth) plus countless hours from Mrs Forrester and others to make props

Many volunteer hours from parents and supporters

100's of happy smiles and happy tears at the end of the 3 performances.
