Bishop's Award

We are delighted to have been presented with 'The Bishop's Award' from the Blackburn Diocesan Board of Education.  The award celebrates Christian Distinctiveness in Church Schools and Academies and we were successful in the following category:

Planted in the House of the Lord they shall FLOURISH! Psalm 92

We received our award for the work we undertook to create an outdoor 'garden' chapel to be used by the whole school and community. Our pupils now regularly lead worship in the chapel. It is also used as an area for peace and reflection and somewhere for us to meditate spiritually.

"I hope you are proud and delighted to achieve this award. Your application involved a lot of hard work and dedication to provide the best Christian education for your pupils and contribute to the Diocesan Vision 2026. Keep shining with Christ's love"
