Swimming Success

Our Year 5 and Year 6 swimming team are celebrating after their recent success in two galas.

Year 5 took part in the Greater Manchester School Games held at the Manchester Aquatic Centre on Tuesday 21st March. The teams competed against other primary schools from across Greater Manchester and we were delighted when the boys finished in 3rd place and the girls in 4th.

The Year 6 team then went on to compete in the English Schools Swimming Association North West Gala held at Everton Park Sports Centre on Friday 24th March. We are still awaiting the results of this.

"I am so proud of all the children who worked so hard in training and performed so well in the competitions. I am also very grateful for the support of all the parents who came to cheer us on. Well done!" Mrs Bretherton, Swimming Teacher.
