Welcome Back Liam Marshall!

We are always very proud of the achievements of our current and ex pupils and like to celebrate with them! We were delighted to welcome back Wigan Warriors' player and former pupil of our school, Liam Marshall. Liam is now 21 and has recently signed a four year contract with Wigan Warriors.

Liam very kindly came into school to see our current pupils and staff. Despite it being 10 years since he left us there are still some members of staff here who taught him! He took a tour of the school, which has changed considerably during the past 10 years and went into some of the KS1 classes to meet the children. Later on we held a special assemmbly for years 4,5 and 6 when we showed Liam some of our photos from his time here! He then did a question and answer session for the pupils. He took time to 'high five' every child and to offer some advice to  our current budding sportsmen.

Camera club members Will, Matthew, Fatymah and Megan accompanied Liam and Mr Colothan during the afternoon and these are their photographs.

We really loved having Liam back in school and are very grateful to him for giving up his time. He is the hero of lots of our Wigan Warriors supporters who were thrilled to meet him!

Remember if you believe in yourself your dreams can come true!
