Junior Speaks 2017

Congratulations to our Junior Speak's Team,‘The Green Ribbons’,  who were named winners of the Hoddinott Shield for 2017 at this year's competition. Year 6 pupils, Annika, Alex, Kieran and Grace,  had practised hard under the guidance of Mrs Pidgeon Duncalf and were thrilled to be declared winners. Their topic was “Mental Health Matters” and they spoke passionately to the crowded room.

The Hoddinott Shield was presented by Mrs. Doreen Hoddinott, to a very excited team, who will now to go to The Owls on the 2nd November and repeat their winning performance for other members of Wigan Rotary Club.
