Reading Rabbits

Reading Rabbits

Meet two special members of our St. Wilfrid’s school family: two beautiful mini-lop rabbits.

The rabbits have been introduced as part of our focus on wellbeing across our school community. They are only eight weeks old and will be housed in the KS2 garden. Teachers will be taking their classes to regularly visit the rabbits and the rabbits especially enjoy listening to children read!

Children thought very hard about our new pet names and as they are Reading Rabbits, we decided to think of some author names…

Murphy (after the author Jill Murphy) and Kipling (after Rudyard Kipling)
